Kefine Klanar is an IEM built around a planar driver (φ14.5 mm).
Klanar has a slightly V-shaped sound signature. It delivers a high-quality, clean bass with good texture, a slightly recessed mid-range with good sound, and a high-resolution upper register completely without harshness.
In addition, it has a very good ability to deliver a wide soundstage with a sense of positioning of instruments in width and depth.
The earphone housings are CNC machined from a single piece of aluminum alloy, making Klanar both durable and stylish.
Its sleek matte black casing is achieved through precise CNC machining, polishing and anodizing on aircraft-grade aluminium. The result is a durable case that exudes elegance and sophistication, ensuring your headphones remain scratch-free and pristine.
It also comes with a premium cable in OFC Litz design, which adds to its audio performance.
"As the introductory IEM of KEFINE, they are definitely up and running with the Klanar. Its tuning, despite being V-shaped, is done well.
Being a comfortable IEM that has great sound, there isn't much to fault aside from a slightly below-average level of isolation and its recessed vocal performance.
Not having a weird planar timbre, however, makes it different from its competitors. Add that to having great bass, impressive detail retrieval, and a wider-than-average soundstage, the KEFINE Klanar makes a promising debut product for the company."
