MD2RD cables are a new version of the already known 2xRCA MD2R cable. An additional letter 'D' in the symbol indicates the directionality of the cable. For the convenience of users, plugs connected to the signal source are marked appropriately to avoid confusion and improve the process of hooking the equipment. Under the new, black braid there is also a new interconnect construction, which is based on two twisted conductors (each 0.35 mm2 thick), each of which is covered with a separate copper braid. Coverage density is up to 99% - it means a guarantee of excellent protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with solid, gold-plated 24-carat gold plugs from Melodik, which are connected by means of high quality tin soldering with silver. The selection of materials is not accidental. It provides a solid, durable connection and transmission of high quality signal. In addition, the plugs show a color differentiation between left and right channel. The new black braid not only gives a nice, elegant appearance of the cord, but also provies a significantly higher resistance to physical damage. The cables are covered with PE insulation and PVC coating. They are resistant to UV radiation, sea water, ozone, alcohol and temperature fluctuations. They are characterized by high absorption of mechanical energy and good abrasion resistance.
