*********** AVAILABLE FOR DEMO ********* The MOONDROP Kadenz is an IEM equipped with a single dynamic driver, similar to the one found in the MOONDROP KATO, with a large 10mm diaphragm. The Kadenz features a more advanced driver, meticulously refined over two years of design, testing, and optimization. MOONDROP dubs it the Super Linear Dynamic Driver ULT Gen-2, integrating newly developed irregular magnetic circuits for enhanced performance. This driver employs a TAC diamond-coated dome composite diaphragm. While its core remains LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer), the diamond coating enhances rigidity, extends treble response, improves bass dynamics, and reduces distortion. MOONDROP has preserved many elements from the KATO but refined the Kadenz with sharper edges and a more robust construction. Its finish transitions from KATO’s glossy exterior to a sophisticated matte metal shell. The name “Kadenz” is elegantly printed in italics, adding a signature-like touch that elevates its premium appeal. Designed for practicality, the inner shell includes a vent to prevent pressure buildup, while the matte surface resists fingerprints, minimizing the need for frequent cleaning. Also, the Kadenz expands on KATO’s interchangeable nozzle system, although Kadenz now offers three nozzle options, which is one more than its predecessor.
