KECES Ebravo Streamer is a pure streamer/transport without built-in DAC. It is possible to connect to the network via LAN or Wifi. You can also connect an external disk with audio files. Finally, you can connect via Bluetooth and stream from, for example, your mobile phone. Keces Ebravo Streamer offers four different ways to connect to external sources: When Keces Ebravo Streamer is connected to the network, it functions as a "DLNA-certified UPnP streaming transport". You can use any app to control playback using any suitable app on your phone or computer. For users of TIDAL and Spotify, there is built-in support for TIDAL Connect and Spotify Connect, which means that you can control playback directly via the respective service's own app. In addition, Keces Audio offers its own app – 4STREAM – which is available for both Apple iOS and Google Android. It provides access to additional streaming services such as Qobuz and iHeartRadio and enables direct playback from your smartphone, network storage or cloud services. The Ebravo Streamer is equipped with all the necessary digital connections to be used with various D/A converters (S/PDIF coaxial/optical, AES/EBU). The streamer is supplied with an external 12V DC / 1A switched power adapter, which allows you to start using your device straight away. However, for those who want to improve the power supply, Keces Audio offers an upgrade in the form of the KECES P6 Low Noise Linear Power Supply. These can be purchased as a package with a discount and provide an even cleaner and more stable power supply – a perfect combination! Is it because of the decrease in jitter and electronic noise? Keces Audio would have you believe so. All I can say is, throughout the review period, I kept thinking that, based on the improved sound and solid build quality, the Ebravo actually makes a difference…and is seriously under priced. My experience with even my modest systems makes me confident that the Ebravo should be perfectly able to make a positive impact with systems far up the line. In addition, the 4Stream App proved easy to use for streaming and playing music stored locally, and is a welcome exception to many streaming apps.
