xDuoo TA-32 - Headphone Amplifier/DAC (tube hybrid)

The xDuoo TA-32 is a Class A headphone amplifier that combines the warm sound of tube technology with the powerful and accurate reproduction of solid state components. It can deliver up to 3000 mW into a 32Ω load, making it suitable for everything from lightly powered IEM headphones to high impedance models. The amplifier uses a tube-based rectifier combined with a transistor buffer and has a replaceable DAC board, allowing you to tailor the sound character to your preferences. With multiple digital inputs – including USB, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth – it is a flexible choice for users who play music from computers, smartphones, specialized audio players and other devices. The TA-32 combines tube and transistor technology in a single design. Rectification is handled by a 5U4G vacuum tube, while two matched Ray Tubes 12AU7 COREs add the characteristic tube warmth to the midrange and treble. A Class-A transistor stage ensures stable current flow, resulting in a sound reproduction that is both warm and rich in detail - a perfect balance between traditional tube sound and modern power. With a modular DAC design, you can easily replace the DAC board to customize the sound profile without having to invest in a whole new amplifier. The TA-32 comes with the ROHM BD34301 but is also compatible with xDuoo's AK4499EX DAC module, which can be purchased separately or included when ordering. The TA-32 can also function as a limited preamplifier with a subsequent power amplifier or active speakers in a stereo system.
