Enleum AMP-23R är en "äkta" dubbelfunktionsförstärkare som kan driva både högtalare och hörlurar. Hörlursutgången hanteras inte av en separat krets utan följer samma väg som den för högtalare. Signalen delas strax före utgångarna i olika reläer, med en lägre ström för hörlursuttaget för att ge ett visst skydd för ömtåliga enheter. I och med detta så klarar AMP-23R att driva "nästan allt" från 4 ohm till 600 ohm eller mer. Dess utgångsimpedans är cirka 0,8 ohm och den matar ut cirka 15 watt till 14 ohm och 4 watt till 60 ohm, vilket minskar linjärt med högre impedanser.
Denna förstärkare är något alldeles extra - den spelar oerhört detaljerat och engagerande, med mycket "livekänsla" där musiken alltid ges liv och närvaro .
Den har givetvis sina begränsningar eftersom den inte levererar mängder av effekt, så det är viktigt att testa att den klarar av att driva högtalarna som den ska paras ihop med. Gällande hörlurar finns det dock inga tvivel om att den klarar av att hantera även de mest trögdrivna hörlurarna.

I put on the first Nicks/Buckingham Fleetwood Mac [Fleetwood Mac, Warner] album to hear ‘Landslide’ which was lovely but decided that ‘World Keep Turning’ is equally good, that never seemed the case in the past. And that’s a rare and valuable quality in any piece of audio gear, showing the listener just how good the music really is. A lot of stuff makes the better recordings sound great but fails to reveal the musical beauty of less polished productions, but the Enleum gets to the heart and soul of the matter in a very convincing style.”
