Description: Melodika MDG is a grounding cable that enables connection to the ground in power sockets, and in result, contributes to hum blocking and audio performance overall improvement. Melodika MDG is terminated with a Schuko plug and a spade. Some audio components, especially those which are “old type”, do not offer the physical possibility of connection to the ground and therefore, cannot be electrically grounded. If none of your Hi-Fi components is equipped with grounded plug to the house / building electrical network (required for the network to be properly made and grounded), then you have an audio system with a so-called "floating mass" which can cause a discomforting noise phenomena: humming, crackling or hissing. Melodika MDG is an easy-to-use and efficient device that provides grounding to a phono stage, amplifier or turntable. To do this, simply plug the Schuko plug into the power strip and then connect the spade to the phono ground screw or to the amplifier housing screw. After connecting the Melodika MDG cable to a grounded power socket, the preamplifier and turntable are grounded. In result, the risk of interference is eliminated, undesirable hum is blocked and overall audio performance is quickly improved.
