The model is developed to provide an engaging listening experience with clear bass response, a slightly more laid-back midrange and a relatively airy treble, making it suitable for everyday listening and more technically interested users who want a lot of sound quality for their money. Zkaaai Cipher comes with a fixed integrated cable. The cable is based on silver-plated copper and is also available with USB-C and built-in DSP/DAC, which means that the headphones can be used directly with modern mobile phones without a separate amplifier. Sonically, the standard version of Zkaaai Cipher is designed to have relatively V-shaped tuning, where the bass has good presence and punch while details in the treble register are highlighted to create a more lively and analytical presentation. The midrange is slightly laid back compared to voices and bass, but maintains sufficient clarity for most genres. The gaming version is slightly better at micro-detailing and has a slightly greater focus on voices.
