AFUL Audio is a company that grew out of a strong passion for sound and technological innovation. The name AFUL stands for “At Full”, symbolizing the pursuit of wholeness and perfection in sound reproduction. In Chinese, it translates to “致音”, a term that expresses both precision, respect and an uncompromising pursuit of absolute top quality in sound.
The journey began in 2018 when a group of acoustic engineers came together and built a specialized research lab equipped with 3D printing technology and advanced acoustic measurement equipment. The following year, the team achieved a major breakthrough: they managed to develop a completely new circuit and audio architecture where a single balanced armature driver could perform at a level previously associated with much more complex Hi-Fi solutions.
The work continued, and in 2020, a second generation of the technology was developed, leading to three registered patents. These technological advances laid the foundation for Aful’s continued development. The following year, the company’s innovations received international attention when its proprietary S&E-Math technology was presented at a Sino-Danish technology exchange forum in Denmark, where it was selected as a representative example of groundbreaking audio technology.
2022 was the year that Aful Audio stepped into the global market with the launch of the Performer series of in-ear monitors. The products quickly received recognition from both reviewers and users, and in the same year, the company’s technology was also awarded the Leading Talent Award from the Suzhou Municipality.
Today, Aful continues to develop advanced headphones that combine engineering, acoustic expertise and a passion for music. Current models include PolarNight, Cantor, Explorer, MagicOne, Performer 5, Performer 8 and SnowyNight. With each new generation of products, the company strives to push the boundaries of what is possible in audio reproduction.
